Graduate of the ‘Moscow through the Eyes of an Engineer’ Guide School, admirer of the oeuvre of architect Ivan Leonidov, and passionate about academic minimalism.
In the course of my tours I engage in dialogue with a wide variety of people – I share my knowledge with them and they share theirs with me. Generally speaking there’s one thing that we all have in common: a desire to understand how the world around us is put together, and a sincere love of Moscow.

By education I’m a philologist, but now I’m studying again to become a historian. I also teach literature, so for me, tours of Moscow are an attempt to combine all of my passions in a new way: the search for new insights, live communication with the past, and sharing information and experience with other people.

The most important thing about being a guide is being real. In the Internet age, when you can find practically any information with a couple of clicks, a guide can and should bring something to the tale that moves you, highlight the key information, and present the essential facts in an interesting way.

Frequently asked questions

A tour normally lasts 2–2.5 hours. The meeting and end points for the tour are agreed in advance.
No special training in the use of VR equipment is required. Participants don’t need to do anything to control the equipment or software. Everything is operated by the guide and their assistant.
There aren’t any fundamental restrictions or contraindications on participating in VR tours, especially if you’ve already had even the slightest experience of VR technology.
We recommend our tours for children aged 8–10 and older.
In winter and the cooler days of spring and autumn we only run bus tours. As, in this case, you will still need to spend short periods (a few intervals of 10–15 minutes) in the fresh air, warm clothing certainly wouldn’t be a bad idea.
